Our NCR pads are printed on 80gsm paper as standard and measure 105mm by 148mm. We offer a choice of either 2 part or 3 part NCR allowing you to 2 or 3 copies of the information. All our pads hold 50 sets per pad, meaning if you order a 3-part NCR it would have 150 sheets glued together to make 50 receipts, work orders etc.
All come with a loose writing shield as standard, plus you can choose to add on a fixed wrap-around cover for a small fee. We also have A5 Pads which are twice the size, A4 Pads four times the size and smaller DL Pads. We’re proud to offer free UK delivery across all orders.
NCR (No Carbon Required) pads are handy business tools that can copy information for you. Until quite recently, a lot of businesses used carbon paper which involved using an ordinary sheet of paper over the top of messy black or blue carbon paper. When written on, the carbon would push itself onto the paper below, so you received a copy of the details made. However, due to how carbon paper was engineered, using it was very messy, and the writing was easy to smudge. NCR carbonless receipt pads are a much better solution than carbon copy pads. NCR stands for ‘No Carbon Required’ which means no messy carbon paper! The invention of NCR paper has solved all of the issues surrounding carbon paper. It provides an accurate and effortless way for tradespeople and businesses alike to multiply their written documents in one go.
Our NCR pads are different to our 2 part NCR forms or NCR sets. Instead, they are glued together in a pad of 50, whereas our sets are printed and supplied loose as individual sets. NCR Books, on the other hand, can be perforated and are available in A5 and A4 sizes. These are ideal for use by businesses that want to keep a permanent copy of a document stored away safely in the book.Â
Rather than using the messy carbon paper for the reasons above, our NCR pads comprise several pieces of special NCR paper lined with a special micro-encapsulated dye. The paper is glued together (typically glued at the top) in either a set of 2 or 3 so that when you write on the top sheet using a pen, your notes magically transfer onto all the sheets below. This gives you a perfect duplicate copy of the original. You then tear off the sheets that make up the set, giving one to your customer and keeping another for yourself to file away for safekeeping.

When you’re placing your order, simply tell us your starting number and when you’re sending your artwork PDF, we would recommend adding an additional page showing the numbering position information. This is the perfect way to ensure you get numbers on each set exactly how you want it.
Yes! Our pads can be printed single or double sided, however, we do suggest using 70% black for the reverse to avoid any show-through. Typically the back is used for terms and conditions or non-fillable information, so please ensure you keep this in mind while designing your NCR stationary.

Typically as a guide, we suggest between 3 – 5 working days on smaller runs and 7-10 working days on larger or more complex orders. All of our custom printed NCR pads are printed using the highest quality printing presses and dispatched for delivery the next working day after they have completed the production process.
