These are some of the most common FAQ’s we get asked about our NCR printing services. We get that you might have questions never fear we are here to get the answered.
FAQ 1. What is NCR printing?
NCR Printing is a type of printing product that allows you to create copies of important information you can read more about it on our blog here.

There are many benefits of using NCR printing to summarise they are a cost effective time saving solution that can make your business look more professional.
FAQ 3. What types of NCR products can be printed?
We offer the following NCR Products, NCR Pads, NCR Sets and NCR Books.
FAQ 4.What is the difference between NCR pads, books, and sets?
There are a few differences between NCR pads, books and sets. We cover them more in this article. However to summarise this quickly. A set is 1 complete copy, Pads are made of 50 sets and glued only. Where as books are glued and stapled with perforation.
FAQ 5. What colors can be used in NCR printing?
We offer our NCR printing in Black and white or with full colour. Its should be noted that NCR paper is thinner than typical flyer or leaflet paper so its best not to go overboard.
FAQ 6. How many sheets can be included in an NCR book or pads?
Our NCR Books and pads are bound in 50 complete sets.
FAQ 7. Can NCR products be customized with my logo or branding?
Absolutely! We would always recommend businesses be conscious of spreading their brand awaredness. Logo and contact details are a must and if possible bring in the brand colours into the design.
FAQ 8. How long does it take to produce an NCR product?
Our NCR products are usually produced to order in 7-10 working days. In most cases this is sooner rather than later as we do work quick. However this is something that can not be guaranteed due to the nature of the production process.
FAQ 9. What is the minimum order quantity for NCR printing?
We offer NCR printing with a minimum of 1 NCR pad or 1 NCR Books or 50 NCR Sets.
FAQ 10. How should I store my NCR products to ensure their longevity?
We would always recommend that you store your NCR products in the same way that you would store any printed media in a dry and damp free atmosphere. This will help with the longevity of your NCR products!
FAQ 11. What is the turnaround time for NCR printing orders?
Our NCR orders are usually produced to order in 7-10 working days. In most cases this is sooner rather than later. Sometimes however, this is something that can not be guaranteed due to the nature of the production process
FAQ 12. What is the recommended paper weight for NCR printing?
Where ever possible we would always recommend printing your NCR on to our high quality 80gsm NCR paper. We do offer a 60gsm that is used for mass production and great for those who are ordering a lot but really want to lower the costs.
The 60gsm however in our opinion is not as good as our specially made 80gsm and we always make people aware when they are making the choice to suit their requirements and budgets.
FAQ 13. Can NCR products be numbered or perforated?
We offer Numbering for free on all of our NCR Products. Our NCR books can be perforated, typically there is no need to perforate NCR Pads or Sets.
FAQ 13. What file format should I use for my NCR printing design?
We would always recommend sending a pdf for your artwork. We do however accept high resolution jpgs and can even help you make a truly branded design.
FAQ 14. Can I request a sample of my NCR product before placing a full order?
Due to the times involved with creating a sample this is not something we currently offer as it slows down our production processes. If your unsure about your design etc. we would recommend placing an order for either a pad or 50 sets then you could tweak the design for your larger order!
FAQ 15. What is the difference between 2-part, 3-part, and 4-part NCR products?
We explain this a lot throughout the site 2 part means the set is made of 2 copies, 3 part is 3 copies and yep you guessed it 4 part means 4 copies. No matter what you order there will always be 50 complete sets!
Choosing the right NCR product for your business should be the same as choosing any product. Firstly you should look at what you are trying to achieve with your NCR printed product. If it is an order form details on there should reflect in the design. If its a time sheet then the design should reflect this instead.
Yes, although this is not something that we can assist with – at this time our artwork team only speak in english and we would rely on google translate which can sometimes make grammatical errors.
If your using NCR printed products as they are intended there are not any real limitations accept your imagination. As with any printed item its important to remember safe areas etc. to ensure your product stays functional!
NCR pads and books are supplied with a loose writing shield as standard with no additional cost. There is no need for sets to have this due to how they are made and work.
Delivery on all our NCR products is FREE.
Yes, we can include drilling or hole punching. Our standard drilling options include drilling holes in either 2 or 4 places.
All of the delivery companies we use need to be signed for. Most if not all couriers now redeliver the next day free of charge. We use APC and DPD to ensure your product gets safely to you Due to their work load however it is impossible to get them to come back if they are missed.
We have several artwork checks built in to our system, this will check for bleeds and correct sizes etc. Unfortunately however we cannot check spelling and grammar, this said if we do spot an obvious issue we will always contact you to check before going to production.
If you are designing your own artwork in software like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator? You can download templates on each product page ensuring you set up your artwork correctly.
We accept print-ready PDF files or high resolution jpgs (300dpi), created to the correct size.
Whilst we do not provide printed proofs, we always send PDF proofs for you to check. We do not proceed with the job until this has been signed off and approved. If your having us create the artwork please note we dont send proofs until payment for the order has been received.
This help us focus on artwork in a logical fashion and we use our invoice software to monitor our production and design queues.
