We understand that whilst our NCR Online Design Templates library is large you and your business may need something bespoke to you industry.
The addition of additional fields and content is what can really help you make your NCR Design work perfect for your business – saving you time and collecting all of your needed information!
As with the design of anything for print – its best to start thinking about what information it is you need to collect. How is it going to help your processes? What information do you need to give your customers? What legal information do you need to leave them with?
This can be really unique to your industry and whilst our general knowledge is vast – we are not you nor do we work in your industry.
The first step for you would be to gather all the information you need on the design. Creating a mockup in word or excel (this can be handy when creating grids and tables). When you are happy with what you have and that you are satisfied you have all the information on the proposed design you can export this to a pdf and attach with your NCR order.
Alternatively we have many clients who choose to sketch or free hand draw their design on a piece of paper and take a picture and send that across.
Everyone works differently the secret is to work with what suits you.
The next step of our NCR Design For You service, is where our professional NCR Design team will review your design along with your NCR order, (the setup is different dependent on what you are ordering to account for perforation and drilling etc).
Our team take into consideration for example whether you have chosen to order black and white or a full colour NCR design order. Then we really tailor your design to match your branding to really help make that professional image you aspire to have with your customers.
When our team has designed your bespoke NCR design we will email you a proof to check and approve.
As part of the design process we understand that revisions maybe needed to the design and this is why we charge for this service. The end goal remember is for you as our customer to be completly happy with the finished design before we go to print. It is a vital part of the artwork approval that you check all information is correct for you and your business.
Once you give us the APPROVAL your order will move into our production queue and no further changes can be made as they will have begun production!
Yes once your artwork has been approved we keep your NCR Design For You artwork on file for future orders.
Sometimes it depends on what these ‘minor’ amendments are typically for changing contact details etc no we do not usually charge. This however is at our descression as it depends on what changes are required – the best action is to get in touch with our team and ask the question then we can assess how long these changes will take us and how much it will require changing on the design.
A very important part of having a bespoke NCR design! You can add your logo in the cart or email it across to the team. We would always recommend sending the best version of your logo as possible to ensure the quality of your NCR is at its absolute best.
This can and does vary dependent on the complexity of any given design. It can also depend on how other factors such as how responsive you are to any questions we may have regarding your design. Typically most designs are done within 1-2 working dayss for revisions.
First drafts with our NCR Design For You service are usually back within 1 working day and we aim to get them signed off within 2 working days with any revisons being done in this time.
We understand though that sometimes this is not possible as they can be multiple team members within your business that have to have an input to the design. We only ask that 1 person at that end deals with our design team and collects these changes at that end. This speeds up the design process and keeps everything moving swiftly through.
