Our A6 NCR sets are printed on 80gsm NCR paper as standard measuring 105mm x 148mm. This is the perfect size for carrying in your pocket! We offer both 2-part and 3-part sets for you to choose from.
Our Sets differ from our A4 NCR Pads and A6 NCR Pads. For example, they don’t come with perforation and the carbonless copy paper sets are bound by glue to the edge. Sets do not need to have a grey backing board as they are only bound together. All our NCR products are delivered free nationwide.Â
Our NCR products are handy business tools that give you a way of creating and retaining copies of information. In the past, most businesses used old-school blue carbon paper which involved using an ordinary sheet of paper over the top of a sheet of carbon paper. When the pressure was applied with a pen, the writing would transfer from the blue sheet onto the paper below, so you received a copy of the details made. However, this was and is incredibly messy, and the information was easy to smudge.
We’re pleased to announce the introduction of a specialist NCR paper (NCR stands for ‘no carbon required’) has solved all of these issues! It provides an accurate and effortless way for tradesmen and businesses to duplicate or even triplicate their hand-written documents accurately and professionally.
Instead of using outdated carbon paper where you need to align the sheets, our No Carbon Required sets are made up of several pieces of specialist NCR paper secured together, and covered with a special micro-encapsulated dye. The paper is glued together in sets of 2 or 3 so that when you apply pressure when writing on the top sheet, the information transfers across all sheets and you have cloned copies of the original. They are perfect for a wide range of uses eg. invoices, receipts, or waste transfer notes!
No-Carbon Required Sets are used by a wide range of businesses, most commonly by tradesmen who need to write out multiple timesheets, delivery notes or receipts quickly and efficiently. They can be used for any reason where you may need a copy and record of something. Like our other NCR pad printing, individual sets of carbonless copy sets are the perfect solution for anyone looking for duplicate copies.
Unlike our pads and books, there is no need for loose writing shields as when you write on the top of the duplicate NCR, it copies onto the bottom sheet and is not bound to other sets. We offer our sets in 4 sizes including A4, A5, A6 and DL as standard so you can feel assured knowing we have a size for every use. We can also offer quadruplicate NCR products should that be what you need.
As well as being an amazing invention for duplicating information, NCR Sets are great for establishing your company’s reputation – professional stationery and a great reputation is what every business deserves. Because of this, we highly recommend ensuring that the design and artwork of your sets look professional and stay in line with your overall company’s message. You should use your company’s logo and name so customers can easily recognise your business as well as your essential contact details.
We offer our sets in black ink or full vivid colour and you can choose the order of the special NCR paper colours. The top sheet is always white which is the same across all our receipt pads and order pads. Numbering and drilling (2 or 4 holes) is also available so you do not have to worry about hole punching extra holes in your full colour printed NCR sheets.
If you have chosen to have sequential numbering on your customised sets, please supply us with two files. One for us to work from and the other showing the numbering location as a reference. You should let us know the start number and the numbering position as well as where the number on each set goes. You can do this as part of our checkout process.Â
If you are ordering a double-sided set, we would recommend using 70% black for the reserve to avoid any show-through. Please take note that the reverse is not intended to have form elements and is typically where terms & conditions or agreement text is placed, especially on invoices or order forms.
Don’t worry, since we custom print everything, we will send you a screen proof for you to approve before printing. All our orders come with free delivery to one UK mainland address too.
All 2 part NCR and 3 part NCR designs are best sent in PDF or high-resolution jpeg done to size. You will need to add bleed and safety margins as well.Â
When we have received your complete specification, we will check that your artwork meets all requirements and send you a screen proof. After that, carbonless paper is printed from your design onto the carbon copy sheets. Shorter runs and less complex specifications will always be quicker and are typically out for delivery after 5 working days of production. Larger more complex orders can take up to 7 -10 working day turnaround. If you have any special instructions or requests please contact us. Please note due to the nature of the products and service we provide, we do not offer an off-the-shelf pad on a next-day service.
