Our A5 No-Carbon-Required books are printed on 80gsm NCR paper and measure to 148mm x 210mm. They are a great size for carrying in your laptop bag and yet can still fit on plenty of information. You can find them available in 2-parts (A5 duplicate NCR books) or 3-part NCR Books (A5 triplicate NCR books). All our NCR books contain 50 NCR sets in total, meaning if you ordered a 2-part A5 NCR, then each book would have 100 sheets glued together, giving you books of 50 invoices or receipts in total.
We also offer custom printed NCR books in A4 NCR which are twice the size if you need something a little larger. All our NCR products are delivered nationwide.

Typically there are 50 sets per book of carbonless copy paper and the sheets are perforated as standard and bound together on one edge with staples and specialist spine tape. This is also why you’ll sometimes hear them referred to as stapled NCR books.

Rather than using that old-fashioned and messy carbon paper, our NCR books are made up of several pieces of specialist carbonless paper. This specialist paper is lined with a special micro-encapsulated dye. These custom-printed sheets of paper are glued together in either sets of 2 or 3, so that when you write on the top sheet, the data transfers to all bottom sheets in the set giving you perfect copies of the original information.
Although they are the same size as our A5 NCR Pads, each book is perforated for easy removal. This means you will always gain a copy and a copy will remain fast in the book for your records. As an example, if you were to order a triplicate A5 NCR book, the top 2 sheets in the set would be perforated and the last sheet not. If you have chosen sequential numbering on your printed NCR Books, we would typically ask you to supply us with two files: one for us to print from and the other showing the numbering position information as a guide.
Drilling is also available with an option of 2 or 4 holes at no extra cost. You can have your NCR sheet printed in black only or full colour, and all of our books come with loose writing shields as standard. For a small fee, you can also choose to have a fixed wrap-around card cover.
If your design requires double-sided NCR books, we suggest using 70% black for the reverse to avoid any show-through.
Since books made of individual NCR sets come with perforation as standard, you are best using the templates provided above, whether you are ordering for a 2-part (duplicate), 3-part (triplicate) or 4 part (quadruplicate).
